Captive bolt stunners
The "Cartridge Security System" takes into account the dimensions and load strengths of cartridges as prescribed by C.I.P. (Commission internationale permanente pour l'épreuve des armes à feu portatives = Permanent International Commission for the Proof of Small Arms).
Cartridges with dimensions larger than 9 x 17 which are also freely available on the market, such as 9 x 20 or 9 x 27, cannot be ignited in the stunner due to the "Cartridge Security System". This reduces unintended operating errors and guarantees user safety.
The "Cartridge Security System" which is used here for the first time therefore renders it impossible to insert an inadmissible cartridge (larger than 9 x 17 mm) and subsequently clamp it for ignition.
