Separating
A separating process is generally achieved by the blades of the knife having a special design and/or the hole plates having a facility to transport the hard components away. This is accomplished by a design with keyways on the hole plate (Seydelmann system) or a traverse bore in a thick hole plate, for example, both of which require specific tailor-made hole plates, i.e. additional ones. The turbocut separating system, however, works with standard hole plates.
