Customer Information Regarding our Energy Supplement

Dear Customers and Business Partners,
Ladies and Gentlemen,

 

With this newsletter we wish to give you an update regarding the general economic situation and our customer information on the introduction of an energy supplement which we sent out in October 2022.

 

We currently all still find ourselves in a challenging situation where we are glad, however, that you continue to trust us with your orders and general enquiries. We consider it our duty to do justice to your expression of confidence in us.

 

Yet we continue to face increasing costs from all sectors of the economy, including raw materials, transport, packaging and last but not least energy.

 

We have tried to compensate these higher prices wherever we can.

 

Added to this are now higher personnel costs and the ever-increasing energy costs, not only for our company but also particularly for our external business partners, such as in the area of surface and heat treatments.

 

In order to remain commercially profitable we are now therefore forced to adjust our energy supplement to the current market conditions, meaning that the energy supplement will amount to 8 % as of 1st January 2023.

 

The above energy supplement will also be charged on orders which we receive before 1st January 2023 where it is already foreseeable that we will only be able to supply the products after this date.
